Padi Open Water Diver course with 5 students…. This was an exciting weekend. All 5 students did very well in all components of the training, the e learning, the confined open Water sessions & the 4 Open water divers.

PADI Instructor Development Course in Sri Lanka

The first ever PADI Instructor Development course  held in Sri Lanka was hosted by Poseidon Diving station. Poseidon has successfully hosted 2 Such instructor development courses & will start the 3rd one on the 16th of March 2014 with Platinum Course Director Mark Soworka & Course Director Sebastian.

Emergency First Response

Yuki & Anju during the EFR Secondary Care course.. learning how to bandage & provide secondary care for bleeding, fractures, & non life threatening injuries which could happen around the house, at work places, in schools, & in public areas.

Complete injury assessment to a casualty after stabilizing the situation, to asses any further injury & provide care to a casualty suspected having spinal injury.

Checking for respiration & providing rescue breaths, opening the air way using “head tilt , chin lift” method during the EFR Primary care course.
